Privacy Policy
Our scoreboard software runs on your own computer and does not send your data anywhere. This page explains what the software, the installers and this website do with information.
Last updated: October 26, 2026
1. Who we are
This website and the scoreBoard7 family of scoreboard programs — soccerBoard7, basketBoard7, volleyBoard7, handBoard7, hockeyBoard7, futsalBoard7, tennisBoard7, cricketBoard7, footyBoard7, waterBoard7, arenaBoard7 and related products (together, "the software") — are developed and published by Ziya ARSLAN, an independent software developer based in Ankara, Türkiye ("we", "us").
Our installers and programs are digitally signed under this name.
2. The software
No data collection
The software works offline on the computer where it is installed. It does not collect, transmit or share personal data, usage statistics, crash reports or telemetry. It does not require an online account.
Content you enter
Team names, player names, player photos, logos, sponsor material, match data, statistics and screen designs that you enter or import are stored only on your own computer, in the software's installation folder. We have no access to them.
Local network features
Optional features such as phone/tablet remote control, the data socket interface and NDI video output communicate only within your own local network, between your devices. This traffic does not pass through our servers.
Licensing
Licenses are checked offline on your computer, either against your computer's CPU ID or against a license file on a USB drive. The software does not contact a license server.
External links
Some menu items, such as "YouTube Tutorials", open a web page in your browser. From that point, the privacy policy of that website (for example YouTube / Google) applies.
3. Installers and downloads
The setup programs download the main installer and, if missing, the Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime from our website. As with any web server, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information for these downloads, such as IP address, date and time, and browser or program version. This information is used only for operating and securing the server and is not used to identify you.
The setup programs do not send any information about you or your computer to us.
4. This website
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, which pages they read and how they found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and referring website. We use this information only in aggregate to improve the site.
You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. More information is in Google's privacy policy and on how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) for security and technical operation.
5. Sales, licensing and support
When you contact us, request a trial, buy a license or ask for support, we receive the information you send us, which may include:
- your name, organization or venue, country and e-mail address
- your computer's CPU ID (to create a trial or license file)
- billing details needed for an invoice
- the content of your messages, and screenshots or files you send for support
We use this information to create and deliver your license, prepare invoices, provide support and updates, and keep a record of your license for future renewals or replacements.
Payments are made through your bank or a payment service (such as bank transfer, Payoneer, Western Union or USDT). We do not receive or store your card or bank login details; the payment provider's own privacy policy applies to the payment.
6. Sharing your data
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only:
- with an authorized reseller, if you bought through one and the information is needed to deliver your license or support;
- with payment providers, to the extent needed to process a payment;
- when required by law or by a competent authority.
7. How long we keep data
We keep customer and license records for as long as your license is in use, so that we can support, renew or replace it, and for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Correspondence that is no longer needed is deleted.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)), you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, or to receive a copy. To make a request, e-mail us at the address below. We will reply within 30 days.
Please note that deleting your license records may prevent us from re-issuing or replacing your license later.
9. Security
We keep customer records on secured devices and accounts with limited access. Our software and installers are digitally signed so you can verify that they come from us and have not been modified.
Our software and website are intended for organizations and adults and are not directed at children.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our products or practices change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
